Andrew P. Fleming is a partner in the law firm of Chiacchia & Fleming, LLP. His Practice is limited to labor & employment, personal injury and commercial litigation. Mr. Fleming’s labor and employment practice focuses mainly on representing employees and small businesses in employment disputes. This includes litigating sexual harassment, gender, age and disability discrimination actions. He also handles employment benefit actions under the ERISA laws. Mr. Fleming’s career began as an insurance defense attorney, though he has, for the past fifteen years, also represented individuals in personal injury actions of all kinds. A pragmatic and determined litigator, Mr. Fleming regularly achieves success for his clients in the union and civil settings. On behalf of one group of plaintiffs, Mr. Fleming achieved the largest employment discrimination settlements in western New York history. Mr. Fleming is a member of the Erie County Bar Association, where he serves as chairman of its Labor and Employment Law Committee, and the National Employment Lawyers Association. He has lectured on sexual harassment, wrongful termination, benefits law litigation and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Mr. Fleming received his degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Pace University. Previous to practicing law, Mr. Fleming was an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps.
